MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE SITE SUPERVISOR - DUBLIN
Our client is a leading Main MEP Contractor working on projects in
Ireland and across mainland Europe.

This critical role involves overseeing the efficient and effective
maintenance operations for mechanical and electrical systems within
our client’s site. The successful candidate will possess a
combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive
approach to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and compliance
Supervision and Coordination: Oversee a team of maintenance
technicians, assigning tasks, and ensuring adherence to schedules and
quality standards for both mechanical and electrical systems,
including representation of the company as point of contact for our
client.
Maintenance Operations Management: Manage preventive maintenance
programs for mechanical and electrical systems including supervision
of Contractors on site ensuring correct functionality, safety, and
compliance with regulatory standards.
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Lead troubleshooting efforts and oversee
repairs of mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring timely
resolution of issues to minimise downtime.
Equipment Inspection and Assessment: Conduct routine inspections and
assessments of mechanical and electrical systems, identifying
potential problems and implementing solutions to prevent breakdowns or
failures.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance
activities, equipment performance, and repairs. Generate reports on
maintenance metrics, highlighting areas for improvement and
efficiency.
Team Development and Training: Provide mentorship, training, and
guidance to maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous
learning and skill development.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols,
standards, and regulations for all maintenance activities related to
mechanical and electrical systems in line with company standard and
EHS procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Advanced craft certificate in relevant field. Equivalent experience
will be considered.
At least 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a
maintenance environment, focusing on both mechanical and electrical
systems.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including
HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, motors, controls, etc.
Familiarity with CMMS for maintenance management would be
advantageous.
Familiarity with sustainability practices and energy-efficient HVAC
solutions
Experience working in commercial and industrial sectors.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to
motivate and guide a diverse maintenance team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to
maintenance operations.
Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and layout
drawings.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the
ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external
contractors.
Valid/Full clean driver’s licence.
